In an attempt to try to stay one step ahead of hackers, some of the larger banks offering internet banking are implementing a system called "Two Piece Authentification" which basically means customers enter not only their password and username, but also a number generated at random by a little device the customer can keep with their computer. But remember, a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and most of the time the most vulnerable point to hacking is the customer's PC.
