I've mentioned it before, but I'll say it again. Firefox is my favourite internet browser. It offers a great interface, it's quick, updates regularly, does crash, etc. And now there's even more good news for Firefox users. The new version three of the product (which is now available in Beta) has a great new feature: Malware Protection. Mozilla intends the Malware Protection to help prevent internet users from accessing internet pages that are identified to have malware on them. Malware is essentially an easier way to say MALicious softWARE which includes things such as viruses, spyware, Trojans and so on. While Firefox 3.0 will be a help towards protecting internet users there's one major fault: the system operates on a blacklist (a prohibited list) which will need to be updated daily. ZoneAlarm uses such a list but also uses other technology which a simple browser simply can't emulate. So, even if you decide to install the new Firefox you'd be crazy not to have some leading edge technology like ZoneAlarm backing you up too.
